Having a healthy body and a healthy mind is essential in living a happy and prosperous life. There are many people who become ill very easily why some people do not. A person’s unique immune system is the very main reason for this. In addition to this factor, a person’s proper hygiene, exercise and proper diet plays as key factors in becoming a fit person. Also, there are many other small but significant habits and routines that can help you in general health and wellness.

One thing you must always consider to have a general health and wellness is to keep yourself hydrated. The recommended amount to keep you hydrated all day is a minimum of eight to ten glasses of water each day. During the summer, water intake will increase because the hot season will tend to dehydrate us with more rapid loss of water. Bringing a bottle of water when you go out is recommended. The main purpose of this is to be able to drink clean water whenever you feel thirsty.

A proper sleep is essential in achieving a healthy lifestyle. A regular lack of sleep due to your hectic schedules can lead to many different complication in your life. As your body has been worked up all day, your body needs to take a rest. Around seven to nine hours of undisturbed sleep is needed each night by an adult. Therefore, you must be sure that you do not stay up all night and try to get enough sleep.

Using a sunscreen is another way to protect yourself from the harmful UV rays and achieve wellness. The UB and UV ray from the sun can cause some serious health deficiency and this can lead to skin cancer. The harmful sun rays can still penetrate through the clouds during cloudy days that is why it still still advised to use sunscreen on this weather. It is advised to use or apply sunscreen thirty minutes before you head out and maintain it by re-applying every two to three hours.

Another thing to consider is though a flip flop may feel comfy and cool, you must avoid wearing then because they do not give adequate support for your feet’s needs. Sports shoes gives a lot more comfort and protection for your feet unlike the sandals that is why you must prefer them if you go on a long distance trip.

Your health is the very basic thing that keeps you alive. That is why we must always put in our priority our own general health and wellness.
